2008 —The Donation Ceremony of Office Depot donating to Sichuan earthquake struck areas was held in Beijing on September 11th. Teddy Chung, Senior Vice President & Managing Director of Office Depot Asia Pacific, Alex Su, Director of Office Depot China Human Resource, TU Meng, the Secretary-General of China Youth Development Foundation and SHENG Yuanyuan, Project Supervisor of CYDF attended the ceremony.The devastating earthquake which struck Sichuan Province on May 12th has affected every people in Office Depot. 69,000 people lost their lives, around 5 million people become homeless, we’re in great sorrow when seeing all of these numbers. With the support of Office Depot Foundation, Office Depot Inc. and all generous associates in Office Depot China, our donation has reached to $100,000. After the multi communication, eventually this donation will be used to reconstruct destroyed schools through CYDF.

2008 —Office Depot China, Shenzhen
office held a successful training themed as “Outstanding Middle -Level Management”
on 18, August, 2008 in Hongbo Hotel. A total of 30 managers and Supervisors
from Shenzhen &Guangzhou Office attended the training. Alex, Office Depot
HR Director, acted as a lecturer taught and discussed about "What is management",
"Work Planning", "Task Assignment" and" Instructing & Coaching" etc. Through
the brilliant lectures, interaction, and team discuss for trainees, enable
them to improve management skills and make great progress on their own leadership

2008 —Office Depot China HR Department
held successful management training themed as “Leadership Development” at
the end of May in Beijing and Shanghai. A total of 78 top leaders, including
manager, Senior Manager, Director attended the training, whose goal is to
develop their thoughts and creativity, promote adaptability to variable
business environment, strengthens the systematized leadership; improve their
self-confidence and the sense of achievement and increase communication
and coordination abilities. They made great progress in science management
recognition and their personal leadership through teaching from trainer’s,
interaction and team discussion. |

2008 —A large number of associates
who received a bouquet of beautiful flowers got a big surprise on the morning
of 1st August, which is our BRAVO activity themed as “Thanks from Leaders”.
The leaders wrote their appreciation for associates’ efforts and outstanding
performance in the past quarter on BRAVO Card. The nominees got the flowers
from Corporation Communication. A bundle of flower, it brought an uncommon
surprise for a nominee; at the sight of a BRAVO Card, it can even make the
nominees touched by the care and warmth from their leaders. The BRAVO Award
is to highlight and recognize above-and-beyond behavior that supports Office
Depot’s Vision and Values and is given out in all areas of the business,
aimed to promote Thanksgiving and appreciation company culture. The BRAVO
activity inspires associate to work harder and increase their cohesion.
We will hold the similar activities in the future to build our teams and
thanks every associate who make efforts. |

2008 —An amusing activity themed as
“Realize her wish-she is happy, so I’m happy too” organized by HR department
and Public Relations department on Women’s Day, which was filled with happiness
and laugh in Office Depot China. Every female colleague wrote down their
wishes on the “Wish Cards”, and then every male colleague drew 3 Wish Cards
to realize them according to the wishes on the card. Although some wishes
were unique and funny, male associates cooperated well and tried their best
to complete them. Everyone spent an unforgettable and meaningful Women’s
Day. |
January
2008 —2008 Annual Meeting of Office
Depot China, themed “2008-Dreams and Challenges,” was held on January 25,
2008. TEDDY, Asia-Pac President, Jamie, Finance Director, Susanne, HR Director,
as well as Tim Liu, Country Manager got together to celebrate the party
with approximately 400 associates. Teddy, Jamie, Susanne and Tim delivered
warm and friendly speeches, extending their sincerest greeting and best
wishes to all associates. They hope all associates can make joint efforts
to gain remarkable achievement in 2008 and create bright future for Office
Depot China. Additionally, annual excellent teams, individuals and managers
awards were given out. “7 Anniversary Service Awards” were issued to the
associates who have been working in Office Depot China over 7 years to appreciate
for their support and services. Another important special awards - "9
Anniversary Service Award", was given out to Tim Liu, Country Manager,
giving thanks for his persistent effort to the company's growth and development
in the past 9 years.
After toast, each functional department displayed wonderful performances,
in which the high – level executives could enjoy themselves together with
the associates, which make the coming new year a more fruitful year for
Official Depot.

2007 —The bidding of 2007-2009 Central
State Organs Office Supplies ended successfully.Office Depot China, Beijing
office won the bid with its tremendous strength, providing office supplies
and ink & toner products for Central State Organs. Central State Organs
attaches great importance to governmental consume of using financial funds,
therefore,they are strict with bidder's qualifications.They not only survey
products quality, but also investigate if the bidder's related facilities
have corresponding service ability or not.Compared with other competitors,Office
Depot China displayed its absolute competitive advantages in the process
of bidding. The successful bid has developed new market, it's also of great
significance for enhancing company's overall image."As far as any company
concerned,wining the bid on government purchasing shows enterprise's comprehensive

2007 —The 2nd Photography Competition
of Office Depot China—"On the Rode"ended successfully after 1-month
fierce competition, involved 200 photography works.Hundred of associates
participated in the competition,displaying their photos in National Holiday
or in their trips.We shared their happy and moving journey."The competition
reflects positive and vivid enterprise atmosphere and we can feel relax
and joy during work",one associate said.The works named Life's Long
Road from Beijing Office took the top prize with its nostalgic atmosphere
and unique scenery. |

2007 —Office Depot China held their
first Town Hall meeting in the Beijing office at 17：20 pm on October,23,2007.The
purpose for that is to make our associates learn our company's current achievement
and development goals in the near future,and to inspirit them to joint effort
for creating bright and hopeful future and make great progress. Tim Liu,
country manager, Office Depot China highlighted the developments and accomplishments
of Office Depot China and Tony Wang, Regional Director of northern China,
gave a recap of the third quarter.The various data showed associates have
got a good return, and company has made good achievement in marketing shares.
Office Depot China will focus on sales profit in future. Additionally, Bravo
and quarterly sales champion awards were given out to associates. |

2007 —The first photography competition
themed as "Our Team"ended successfully on 11, September, 2007.
The competition received approximately 70 photography works from different
departments of countrywide branch companies, and nearly 200 associates participated
in the one-week online voting, finally 6 awarded works shined at 40 selected
works. The No.25 works named Longing from Shanghai office took the top prize
with its fluent and smooth composition and solid PS. foundation. The CS
Troops and When my hand ran through your hair vividly reflected the team's
exciting moments on trips, so they gained the third prizes. A number of
associates were attracted to participate in the photography competition
with great enthusiasm, and some think the competition promote the team coherence.
"It's very joyful to share team stories in the form of taking pictures
and we appreciate our company provides us with such platform" Zhilei
Jia said, designer from e-commerce department. The theme "On the Rode"for
another new photography competition is holding in October, which provides
the best opportunity to share travel feeling and mood for the colleagues
who love traveling and photography. |

2007 —At the end of July,Tim Liu,Country
Manager,China and xuyu Yu,manager of Wuxi branch met with the mayor of Wuxi
and some leaders of Wuxi national Hi-Tech industrial development zone and
signed the station contract, announcing the establishment of Office Depot
China Wuxi branch.The newly established Wuxi branch made preparation for
company's structure in August. |

2007 —Office Depot China was awarde"Top
10 Enterprises 2006-2007"for its great achievement and creative business
mode by China Marketing, China's known marketing magazine on 4 Aug, 2007.As
one of the winners of "Best Agent", Mr.Wang zhongyu,North China
General Manager was invited to attend the award ceremony as the representative
of Office Depot China.The 4th Chinese Agents Meeting was hold by the sponsor
in SchenGen International Hotel at the same day.The meeting announced the
2006-2007 annual"Best AgentsIn addition to the awarded enterprise representatives,many
government leaders, industry experts,scholars,senior media reports also
attended the meeting.The attendee discussed the common concerned topics. |

2007 —Office Depot China,Tianjin Branch
was established in Tianjin Airport Industrial Development Zone on July 2,2007,which
was an encouraging day,and it marked that the development of Office Depot
has entered a new stage in Northern China.Being the third largest city of
China,Tianjin plays very important role in both politics and economy.In
particular,relying on the harbor advantage,the city has become the economic,trade
and financial center in Northern China in recent years,more and more Multi-national
corporations are considering the city to be the best choice for market expanding. |

2007 —The exhibition of 2007 Central
Government Procurement of short-listed Technology Products came to a successful
end in Beijing Railway Building at 5 PM on June 19.The exhibition was launched
by Technology Products Department and assisted by Corporate Communication,Office
Depot China,including EBA and 3M and other 20 suppliers were invited to
the exhibition and nearly 210 leaders of procurement from 22 government
clients attended the exhibition.The traders not only displayed latest technology
products short-listed by central government,also played the scene all kinds
of promotional activities,making the atmosphere extremely flourish.And many
customers consulted the suppliers about their concerned questions. |

2007 —Mr. Chen Baogen,the mayor of
Xi'an Municipal Government and vice secretary of the CPC Xi'an Committee,met
with Mr.Steve Odland,Chairman and CEO of Office Depot,and his attendants
in Sheraton Hotel yesterday morning.Jing Junhai,Standing Committee member
of the CPC Xi'an Municipal Committee and director of Administrative Committee
of Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone,attended the meeting. |

by Internet weekly, the leading Internet magazine in China that has extensive

Websites in China" are assigned once a year in order to promote the development

2006 — "The University Students"
2006 Top 100 most satisfactory and most credible recruiting enterprises"
Award Ceremony was held in Qinghua University on the morning of December
9th. It was jointly sponsored by Beijing Association of Promoting Employment
for University Graduates, Beijing Employment Guide Center for University
Graduates and the program of "2006 CCTV annual employer surveys," in CCTV-2.
The theme was "Create employer brand integrity, build up harmonious employ-
ment opportunities." The selected enterprises are involved in the industries

CPC Central Committee announced that Office Depot China Nova copy paper,
EPSON projector, CANON digital camera, fax machine and all-in-ones are listed
on the appointed Suppliers List. This includes more than 80 government agencies
directly under the central state organs, and more than 2000 subordinate
companies around the country. The company achieved a massive growth by opening
the door to government procurement. |
